Drunken Boots haul!

This is what happens when you go out for dinner on Regent Street with your bestest friend, have a few too many cocktails and ask to 'nip into Boots for one thing' in Piccadilly Circus on the way home!!

I went a little nail polish crazy.  I am sure Danielle despairs!

Boots haul-seriously how many polishes does one girl need?

Essie is one of my favourite polish forumlas and is the one most commonly used here in Dubai at salons.  I wanted Midnight Cami after seeing Rebecca from Be Beautiful wearing it.  She also inspired the purchases of the mini Max Factor Fantasy Fire after raving about it.  I bought two.  Just in case.  I have to say, I looked in about 8 different Boots before finding the Max Factor polish in stock after reading Rebecca's review on it.

Danielle picked up Eternal Optimist which is a beautiful peach based nude.  Seeing it on her nails and seeing how polished and groomed it looked on her influenced me to purchase.  Jamaica Me Crazy and Peach Daquiri are great bright polishes for summer.

I've never bought or used Orly before so this is my first foray into their world.  The bright pinks stood out to me and I picked up Oh Cabana Boy, Lola and Hottie.  You can never have enough pink.  These polishes were cheap as well-£4 or £5 if I remember correctly.  Remember I was a little tipsy!

The introduction of Butter London into Boots is ace.  I bought a couple of Butter London polishes in Selfridges on my first trip to London in May and I loved the formula.  So I picked up 4 more on this trip.  I love the names of the polishes and the colours all seem just that bit different from the norm.

I picked up Disco Biscuit-a hot pink with tiny iridescent glitter particles, Knackered-a duo-chrome with micro glitter, No More Waity Katie-a soft lilac again with micro glitter and Dahling- a deep dusky pink.  I can definitely see my collection expanding further.

Butter London polishes are also '3 free' which means free of formaldehyde, toluene and dibutyl phthalate (DBP).

I also threw a Peptabright from Indeed Labs into my basket and a Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush brush.  The Peptabright was a Caroline Hirons inspired purchase-that lady can do no wrong in my eyes-she is a skincare goddess and the Too Faced blush was just too cute to resist-even though I own already 345, 986 blushers.

Note to self-probably best to leave the debit card at home next time there are copious cocktails and a Boots store opposite the restaurant.
