Mini haul!

Nordstrom is literally my favourite place to shop at the moment-they ship to my US freight forwarding address and it arrives in Dubai a few days later!

Here's what I recently splurged on!

First up is a non beauty item, I picked up this super bright pink shoes from Chinese Laundry.

I wanted something I could wear with an all black outfit to add a pop of colour and these certainly fit the bill!

Next up is a purchase completely enabled by Arianne from the Glitter Geek who has the most amazing blog and you need to go and subscribe to it right now!  I saw this post on Arianne's instagram and I was like 'why do I not own that lipstick???'

I think Arianne looks amazing and despite the fact my colouring could not be different to Arianne's I really needed to own this iconic orange toned red matte Mac lipstick.  And now I do.  Totally unnecessary purchase, totally love it.

The next thing I picked up was also totally unnecessary due to the fact I already have 2 other versions of this product, and despite one of them for 6 months now it barely has a dent in it....but I dare you to smell this and declare you don't need this in your life!!  It's the Sara Happ lip scrub in Lemonade!

Sara Happ lip scrubs are the absolute business.  They're non abrasive yet super effective with the scrubbing granules suspended in a soft jelly, they smell amazing, they remove all traces of flakiness and leave lips soft and ready for action!  I have green apple and red velvet and when this one launched I just could not resist picking it up.  You can buy Sara Happ in the UK from Selfridges, it's much more widely available in the US.  Try it, you'll love it.

Next is a new eye palette from YSL.  I adore the special edition packaging and colours in this new YSL City Drive 'Classy' palette.  It's absolutely stunning.  This is part of the Autumn 2013 collection and here is what YSL has to say about this palette:

A nod to the masters of Pop Art celebrated by Monsieur Saint Laurent and a tribute to New York City street art, the Pure Chromatics City Drive palettes feature an ultra-chic, ultra contemporary graffiti design in a choice of black or fuchsia. These elegantly urban cases are an essential accessory for Autumn-Winter 2013/2014. CITY DRIVE Classy From the 127th floor of the Dubai tower to the roof of a Manhattan skyscraper, champagne, marble, concrete and steel set the tone for the Classy palette. A harmony of natural yet always contemporary shades to release urban chic, by day or night.

I can't help wondering which tower they're talking about in Dubai but am guessing the Burj Khalifa!

YSL Chromatics eyeshadows can be used wet or dry-when used wet the colours appear more intense and metallic.  When used dry they give a satin finish, and wet a more pigmented, creamy and metallic finish.  This palette is perfect for night and day.  This palette contains a rich mocha shimmer, champagne satin, warm chocolate shimmer and sparkling steel grey.

Finally I picked up a new moisturiser I have read about on Caroline Hirons blog which is sadly unavailable in the UK.  Very excited to try this because I haven't yet been disappointed with any of Carolines recommendations.

Really happy with my purchases and can't wait for my next Nordstrom order to arrive which contains some of the Nordstrom exclusive anniversary edition bits!
