Autumnal lips/Standard FOTD right now

I started preparing this post as a 'lipsticks for Autumn/Fall' post-nothing groundbreaking or initiative but some solid berry lip options as the weather starts to cool (although 'cooling' is relative depending on where you are in the world-less than 40 degrees in Dubai is a win)

But then I realised this has become my current 'look'.  I normally switch my makeup up quite a lot but for the past couple of weeks or so I've done the same thing all day every day-warm, (preferably red toned) eyes and neutral cheeks with lots of bronzey highlight.  It's the same eyeshadow palette constantly which is unheard of for me but mixed up with three berry lipsticks.

Lipstick 1-NARS Audacious lipstick in Charlotte

I love the formula of the NARS Audacious lipsticks (read reviews here, here and here) but I have to be honest I find them a nightmare to apply straight from the bullet.  Charlotte is rich, opulent and very pigmented but it doesn't transfer and is relatively long lasting.  It's probably the creamiest of the three and pairing these shades with a lip liner is a must for me.  Huda Beauty Icon (review!) and MAC Morning Coffee are great options-Morning Coffee especially works so well.

Lipstick 2-YSL Rouge Pur Couture The Mats in 205

A very forgiving matte, the YSL formula isn't drying or stiff at all and is the easiest to apply from the bullet.  This is by far the darkest of the three shades and is borderline vampy but I really do like it.  The longest lasting of the three and again this lipstick does not bleed or transfer.

Lipstick 3-Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Love Liberty

I'm borderline obsessed with this lipstick.  I've dedicated a whole post to it (here!) and I raved about it then just as I still rave about it now.  It's opaque and velvety, a stunning jewelled berry tone, long lasting with an even fade and not at all drying.  These are marketed as matte but they definitely have a distinct luminosity to them.  If you only buy one-buy this one.

What I use for this 'look' I keep gravitating towards:

Foundation-a mixture of the Sephora 10hr Wear Perfection foundation (a $20 bargain) and the By Terry Cover Expert foundation blended with the massive and brilliant Artis #10 brush.

Powder-Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder

Bronzer-Chanel Limited Edition one from last year-very warm but as you can see, loved and used to death by me.

Eyeshadow-A cream eyeshadow base-my favourite is the Trish McEvoy cream eyeshadow stick which I have absolutely raved about here blended out all over the lid and then the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette over the top-my favourites are How U Doin and Glamping for this look

Liner-Kat Von D Trooper liner-I am rubbish with eyeliner and I find this liquid liner the easiest to use for the lash line.  For the bottom lash line I am in love with Urban Decay liner in Hustle-it's warm toned and bronzy.

Cheeks-Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed, topped with MAC Soft and Gentle as a topper over the top-again, I am obsessed with this right now

Mascara-YSL Shocking Mascara

What's your favourite Autumn lip?
