Hello from Cairo where I have just landed and am here for the next 5 days working.  I wanted to put a quick explanation up of why I am going to be off the radar over the next 5 weeks. I will still be tweeting and instagraming (because I can't help myself!) but I probably won't have time to read my twitter and instagram feed so, I know it's very bad blogger etiquette but I won't be interacting as much as usual.  Same with reading blogs and commenting which is something I really like to do.

I have another set of professional exams to sit this year for my 'proper' job-the first is on the 7th April.  I have left it waaaay too late to start studying and am now overwhelmed with the amount of study I have to do over the next 36 days.  And on top of that I have 2 business trips to Cairo and my mum and dad visiting for 10 days next week.  Now obviously my mum and dad visiting is brilliant and they have been to Dubai so many times they will look after themselves but its both mine and my mums birthdays so I want some nice family time.  Along with my full time job something has to give.  And it has to be my blog because that doesn't pay the bills.  I just can't physically juggle everything.  I do hate admitting that I can't do everything, I am a bit of a workaholic and always on the go and almost feel like I am 'failing' for not managing to keep all the balls in the air.

James my assistant has offered to write for me (as an avid reader of my blog aren't you James?) and I am sure we'd all like James' perspective on beauty and make up!

I have a few 'already written' posts so they will be popping up now and again and hopefully you'll all still be here when I get back!!

Sorry for the ramble....am off to hit the books for a couple of hours

  11. Stacey safe to say you will be missed but I completely get it! Sometimes real life stuff is more important and it's also nice to give a blog a small break to get back to it with new ideas. :) Good luck on the exams, I'm sure you'll do fantastic job and I want to wish you and your mum a very Happy Birthday already! :)

  12. Good luck with the studying over the next few weeks. I will certainly miss reading your blog posts, but completely understand that sometimes, life does take over! I will be starting university in September, a full time Monday to Friday 9 - 5 course, so trying to juggle studying and my blog then may prove hard... Have a lovely time in Cairo on your business trips!
