Glamglow-the review

This year I have loved rediscovering face masks.  The Aesop Chamomile Anti Blemish mask was the first one that got me hooked again this year, I saw almost immediate benefits using it and became a huge fan.  Then the Ren Glycolatic Radiance Renewal mask stole my heart with its marmalade like texture and glow-giving properties and built in AHA's.

Now I use two masks a week-a hydrating or radiance giving one mid week (currently using the Caudalie Vinoperfect enzymatic peel mask) and a purifying, deep cleaning one at the weekend.

Enter Glamglow.  This has seriously good reviews on the Sephora website.  Like ridiculously good.  Natalie Portman, Jennifer Aniston and erm Miley Cyrus have all spoken about their love for this mask.

It promises to rejuvenate your skin and leave it glowing in just 10 minutes.  Not only that, it promises a list as long as my arm of benefits which I have taken from their website.

There’s nothing GLAMGLOW doesn’t do for your skin:
- Skin Collagen Synthesis for a noticeable 3 day glow.
- Brighter, radiant skin in minutes.
- Leaves skin noticeably soft and smooth.
- Multi-level resurfacing exfoliation.
- Penetrates into the deepest layers of the skin to soften fine lines and wrinkles.
- Tightens, tones and lifts the skin.
- Relives dark circles and minimises pores.
- Absorbs impurities without removing natural oils.
- Helps protect against everyday environmental aggressors.
- Suitable for all skin types, all ages and for both women and men.
- Contains no artificial colours or fragrances.
- Cruelty-free, and suitable for vegans.

Pretty impressive claims.

Key ingredients are volcanic rock minerals, French sea clay and active green tea leaf (the mask has actual tiny leaves in it) so this for me falls into the 'deep cleaning' mask I would use on a weekend.

And I absolutely love it!!!  I have used it 3 times now, the first time I used it my skin tingled like mad and I was worried it was going to be left red and sore and blotchy.  I left it on for exactly 10 minutes before washing off with a wet flannel.  My skin was not red in the slightest but was soft and smooth and the next day was visibly clearer.  3 uses and all the tiny blackheads in my nose have disappeared and my pore size seems to be smaller.  The mask will make you look like Shrek for 10 minutes, but close the curtains, pour yourself a glass of wine and let Glamglow work it's magic on you!!

Have you tried Glamglow?  Do you love it as much as I do?
