I feel like Gwen Stefani/No Doubt have always been in my life.  When I was 22 I had to drive an hour to work and for a good 12 months the No Doubt Greatest Hits CD (might have even been a cassette tape lol) was my jam on that drive.

Any Gwen Stefani collab was going to grab my attention.  On the back of this palette it says 'beauty with an edge' and that to me, describes Gwen Stefani to an absolute T.  She is classically beautiful yet edgy and hip at the same time.

Although this is limited edition it is still in stock here in Dubai-and I know this because Laura bought it yesterday.  And this really is a lovely palette that deserves showcasing and some blog space.

The palette contains 4 blush, a highlight and a bronzer that doubles as a blush:

Cherry is pigmented AF and when I slapped it on initially I was a bit Aunt Sally.  A light hand and a fluffy blush gives an amazing cool pink glowy flush to the skin with a satin finish.

Easy doesn't skimp on the pigment either-this is a warmer and deeper pink with a very subtle gold shimmer through it.

Angel is a champagne highlight-but it is quite subtle so can be used as a blush topper.  It definitely has a strong peach undertone to it  and I really like it over the top of Easy to pull out the golden tones.

Lo-Fi is the bronzer, blush hybrid and one of my favourites.  It's totally matte and a little too orange toned for me to use as an all over bronzer but I love it for a bit of a lazy contoured effect on my cheeks.

Hush is BEAUTIFUL and a shade I am obsessed with.  On the skin it almost looks wet and rose gold but it's so flattering and if UD did this as an individual shade I would buy it immediately.  This is the perfect summer blush to me and it goes with everything.

OC is the disappointing blush for me in this palette.  Swatched it looks very sheer with a duochrome pink/apricot shimmer-you can see it in my finger swatch.  On my skin though something very bizarre happens and it turns very yellow toned and almost looks dirty.

My pictures below are completely unfiltered and unedited and taken with my Olympus Pen EPL7 on the auto setting in natural lighting and my skintone is around NW15 in MAC/ Mont Blanc in NARS/ 115 in MUFE

I love the texture of these blushers-they all feel super smooth and are easy to blend and last the 8 hours Urban Decay promise.  I love the fact you can mix and match all of these shades to create something quite bespoke and individual-pretty much like Gwen herself.  I haven't stopped using this palette since I got it-it's also sturdy enough to withstand me dropping it on the floor.......

Did you pick up any of the UD X Gwen Stefani launches?
