Current beauty favourites

Beauty faves....it's been a while!  I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet because believe it or not I took these photos back in December!  But they're all still definitely favourites so let me elaborate further.

First up is the Tom Ford Skin Illuminating Powder Duo in 01 Moonlight-particularly the bronze shade.  In all honesty the highlighter at the top is a bit meh, and doesn't really pack much of a punch.  And I guess also the bronzer won't be to everyones taste-but if you're pale and like an illuminating bronzer or a glowy finish to your make up, this is so beautiful on the skin.  It blends seamlessly and has more of a grey undertone-so no fears of being orange.  But it's very glowy-I use it only for nights out and holidays-but it's absolutely perfect for looking radiantly lit from within and like you've spent the day at the beach.

My second favourite is the Burberry Kisses lip gloss in Nude Pink.  This is just my perfect every day gloss.  It adds a subtle pink tint to the lips and feels like water-no stickiness at all.  I love shiny shiny glosses and this gloss also illuminates and plumps the lips without that horrible tinging sensation.  The packaging is also lush-not that I would expect anything less from Burberry.

Moving onto slightly more affordable options, I have fallen head over heels in love with L'Oreal Lash Paradise mascara.  I rarely buy the same mascara twice but I have repurchased this and another back up!  It gives incredibly full, black, voluminous lashes without smudging or flaking and isn't too wet so it's perfect from first use.  I have spoken before about how I suffer from the terrible affliction of flaking and smudging mascara but this one gets a big thumbs up from me.

Another affordable and brilliant product is the Lee Stafford Coco Loco Genius Lotion.  I picked this up on a whim from my local supermarket as I was looking for something to replace the Aveda Damage Repair lotion that I loved but is just so expensive.  I have terribly fine hair and I need products that don't make it greasy but do weigh it down just enough to stop it being flyaway and unmanageable.  This stuff is perfect for that.  I massage a small amount just into the ends of towel dried hair and when I blow dry my hair it leaves it smooth and tangle free-and behaving!  It definitely does exactly what the Aveda lotion did for me-without the price tag.

My final favourite is the least talked about product in the Farsali range-it's the Volcanic Elixir.  This is a heavy oil with a very pungent smell-it reminds me of balsamic vinegar but I've heard other people say it's 'earthy'.  I use the oil maybe twice a week in the evening as my last step in my skincare routine and it's brilliant for improving scarring left from old spots and for stopping spots in their tracks.  It's very soothing and anti-inflammatory and perfect for skin like mine that can be a little temperamental.  I honestly love all the Farsali oils, I think they're great!

I'd love to know if you have tried any of these products and if you love them as much as I do!
