Current beauty favourites

A beauty blog with an actual post about beauty products on it??  It's been a while but finally, finally I am sharing some of my current beauty favourites!

NARS liquid illuminator in Hot Sand

NARS liquid illuminator in Hot Sand

I feel like I have spoken about this product before but it's such a great 'add in' product-I use it predominantly mixed into my foundation to add a little bit of extra glow but you can also smooth it onto limbs or use as a standalone primer.  Hot Sand has a peachy glow to it and will suit all skintones.  If you're really pale, Cococabana is the one for you!

MAC Pro Longwear liner in He Said She Said

MAC Pro Longwear liner in He Said She Said

I really love the Pro Longwear liners-I think they're far superior to the normal MAC lip liners but I never really see anyone talking about them.  I find them slightly softer in texture and more waxy which means they glide over the lips easier.  He Said She Said is a brilliantly versatile red-it works with any true or blue toned red and is definitely my most reached for liner when I am wearing a red lip.  It doesn't bleed at all which is so important when you're wearing a bold lip-you want the colour to stay on your lips, not migrate all over your face!

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes, Feline

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes, Feline

L'Oreal mascaras rarely let me down-I would quite happily use drugstore mascaras for the rest of my life, I think there are some really incredible ones on the market.  This one is one of my favourites-the plastic bristle brush doesn't scratch the lashes and the curved wand means that it's easy to get to each lash.  The formula is so good-it gives long, voluminous, separated and lifted lashes and the mascara doesn't flake or smudge at all.  Love love love!

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 03 Strawberry Kissed

Sephora Cream Lip Stain in 03 Strawberry Kissed

I have to admit I am not the biggest fan of matte lips, I think they are quite ageing on me so I try to look for a matte but luminous formula-Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution is an excellent example and the Sephora Cream Lip Stains are probably the best example in a liquid lip formula.

The texture is light and moussy, yet even and completely opaque.  The doe foot applicator makes it really easy to apply and MAC He Said She Said is a great lip liner to pair it with.  Once dried it doesn't look chalky or dry and the staying power is immense.  Hands down my favourite liquid lip.  You can see me wearing it here and here.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Incandescent Electra

This is the first Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush I have really loved.  When they first launched I bought a few of them but I felt like they were all a little over pigmented and they looked really obvious on the skin rather than blending seamlessly.  The idea behind the blushers is that it is coloured pigment mixed with their famous Ambient Lighting Powders.  Incandescent Electra is an absolutely beautiful peach which molds to the skin, leaving you with fresh and glowy-this isn't one for you if you love matte cheeks.  It contains no shimmer or sparkly but it does have an almost frosty sheen to it-I don't usually add highlighter because this blush does it all.

I'd love to know if you have tried any of these products and love them as much as I do?
