Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in Goals

Tarte Tarteist Glossy Lip Paint in Goals

If you have ever seen my Lip Six posts then you'll know I am a bit of a lipstick floozy, I never wear the same colour twice in a row and I spend a good five minutes each evening sitting at my vanity deciding what lipstick to wear before building the rest of my make up look around it for the next day.

But I have a new obsession and whilst I have been off work recovering from surgery and wearing very minimal, pared down make up, this lip product from Tarte is all I have been reaching for.

I really love the formula of this glossy, light, lip paint.  It's opaque but it's shiny, smooth and non sticky.  It's not a liquid lipstick or a lacquer so it doesn't offer hours of wear time but equally it doesn't dry out the lips-in fact it feels really hydrating.

The long narrow doe foot wand makes it super quick and easy to swipe over the lips and the gloss doesn't pool-do you know what I mean?  Where the gloss sits unevenly on the lips and when you purse your lips together you get that horrible tide mark of gloss?  Yeah well not with this gloss you don't.

The shade Goals is the perfect rosy nude, a 'my lips but way better', suits all shade.  I really love the way this works with pretty much any look and whilst I haven't wanted a full face of make up, I do feel better with something on.

There are 9 shades in the range and I feel drawn to more of the lighter/nuder shades.  I feel like darker coloured glosses are so high maintenance so Double Tap (a cool mauve) and Hella (a white nude) are the ones screaming 'buy me'.

I bought mine from Sephora US and had it shipped to the UK and then shipped from the UK to me.  It's a long winded way of doing it but it works!

Are you a gloss girl?
